Praying for Unreached Unengaged Peoples

Unless the Lord favors our initiatives toward unengaged peoples, they won’t succeed, nor would we want them to.  We know He is worthy to receive worship from all peoples, and our hearts ache until He does.  So we pray. . . and invite Him to do what only He does.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it”
(Psalm 127)

“Call to Me, and I will answer you,
and show you great and mighty things which you do not know”
(Jeremiah 33)

“Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance,
and the very ends of the earth

as Your possession.”
(Psalm 2)

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives and he who seeks finds,
and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
(Matthew 7)

“Faithful is He who called you who also will bring it to pass.”
(I Thessalonians 5)

So let us pray for unengaged peoples:

1. Some of us have been cooperating with others to research the remaining unengaged people groups. We want to go directly to those who know the region and get clear information that can be used to send workers. We pray that we can connect with those who would give reliable information.

2. Let us realize that you are leading the charge, not us. It is your idea and your will that no people would be left without a witness. Help us to have a knowledge base but also your wisdom to know what to do. We ask that you bring together teams of people who would be like strings on an instrument in your hand, each finely tuned to the others. Raise up workers with the Ekballo that you spoke of in Matthew 9:37-38. That you would find and send humble servants who could be trusted with your power and truth.

3. Prayer becomes a vestige of love… All our hearts would be softened to have more actual concern for unengaged people. Soften hearts, that we may be really concerned about what is happening to the unengaged people.

Note:  New prayer requests will be added to this page on the first of each month.  Thank you for praying.
